Quilts

I have finished a baby quilt for a friend at work. She picked out the fabrics. I hope she likes the way I put it together. I quilted flowers into it. She's expecting her second girl. I also finished this Barn Raising done in civil war reproduction prints. I machine quilted this in a flower pattern. This is one of my favorite quilts to date. I love the prints, the colors and I'm just really pleased with my quilting on it.

Here is a memory quilt I did for a customer. It is made from her son's baby clothes. I cut well over 1000 pieces for this Courthouse steps quilt.

And a quilt I finished for the local Jewish school. This quilt has since traveled to Hadera, Israel to hang in the City Hall there. I quilted the Jewish star into the border. The quilt is also done in the colors of the Jewish flag.

A Natalie Ross finish- For You With Love. This little bag and pillow were so easy to put together and I love the fabrics. What a great idea for a quick gift. You could whip these suckers out in a weekend.

Wow time flies

I am so behind. I cannot believe how time flies. I have been very busy. There will be much to look at as I have lots of pics to add.

I have been working diligently on a stitchery quilt “Polka Dot Girls” by Brownwyn Hayes. I love the way it turned out the. These pics don’t do it justice.
Here is the quilt and some close ups of the stitchery as well as a pillow.

Busy as a bee!

I have been so busy quilting that I haven't had time to post. So here are a whole bunch of pictures to enjoy.

This is a sampler quilt I finished for a customer. The pattern is from Eleanor Burns book It's Elementary.

Here is a close up of the quilting.

This is the quilt pink top for 2008. Ladies from the area made a 12" block and dropped it at the quilt shop. My mother and I finished putting them together. Isn't it gorgeous! The finished quilt will go to APQ to be auctioned.

Happy Houses. A quilt pattern from Quiltville.

Happy Houses close up. I quilted swirls and loops.

Honeybee pattern done in Valentine fabric, Fliratious by Sandy Gervais.

Honeybee close up. I machine quilted this with a fleur in the center block, then echo quilting around the "bees" then I did a heart vine in the border.

Last but certainly not least I finished Rosalie Quinlan's bag. The desing is called Leanne's shopping bag. I added the stitchery from another of Rosalie's patterns, Love Is.
