And here is the quilt I am featuring. I was never very impressed with embroidery until I saw some of the Australian designers. Then I was sold! Rosalie Quinlan, who designed this quilt is one of my absolute favorites. I love her whimsical fresh style. As soon as I saw this quilt, Little Patchwork Village, I knew I had to do it. I began the houses last year and one thing or another kept getting in my way. I decided this would be the year for UFOs and this is one of my now completed UFOs. I'm so proud it's done and I absolutely love it. It is for my daughter who loves all things pink. I am ashamed to admit she had a store bought quilt (shudder) hanging on her wall. It was bought some time ago before I new how to quilt and I have just never gotten around to replacing it. Well guess what? It's off to Goodwill and this beauty is hanging in it's place. Excuse my lopsided picture. I was burning dinner while shooting it. :0)

Very beautiful Quilt work
Beautiful. I am always in awe of the incredible Australian stitching I see. I love hand work but cannot seem to find time :p
This looks fabulous! I really do love handwork! Isn't this how all our blog pics get taken!? I have to try a red work quilt. I was thinking of using Hello Kitty for a small wall quilt for my daughter.
