Pure Sweetness

I made two dresses out of Sweetwater's new line, Pure. I am working on my third dress out of this fabric. I love this fabric line and have other plans for it. This is an easy pattern from a Japanese pattern book I bought from Etsy. I serge my edges using a zigzag stitch on my machine.

And look, a sleeve!

Here is the top back. So easy but so pretty. . A gathered waistline with elastic cuffs.

This is the blouse I made from Heather Bailey's line, Far Far Away. It's a lovely linen/cotton blend so it's a bit heavier for the cooler weather. I used shell buttons by Moda for the back.

Those dresses are pure sweetness and so is the lovely young thing modeling them!

Love the fabric and the dress. I've recently ordered a Pure charm pack for a baby quilt that I am planning.

Dress making is so satisfying. I'm doing some garment sewing myself :)

That dress is so pretty Robyn. Looks like you are having fun being a seamstress and designer for your daughter.

Robyn,
Your little girl's dresses are "oh so adorable". I am inspired. Keep making the dresses while she will still wear them. Beautiful.
Thanks for visiting also.
Hugs.
Jackie.
